The Sacred Hoop existed before the European/American occupation and is still sacred, but broken. There is a growing movement of Rewilders who are dedicated to the regeneration and sustenance of indigenous and migratory life ways through the tending of wild food gardens for families now and for the generations to come. Thriving outside the oppression and conditioning of the system through a culture of potlatch rather than commerce, walks in beauty way, and the principles of Hoop law. This is living in a way that restores balance and gives life rather than takes it.
Hello friends, my name is Emily Kistner and I am passionate about the stories, songs, and vitality intrinsic to all creatures, plants, roads, and tools. I am a master of nothing and dedicated to learning all I can about everything. The freedom I have found in nourishing my body, spirit, and heart through the pursuit and discovery of my own path continues to lead me to places beyond my perceived boundaries. There is a vibrant and enthusiastic four year old who lives inside me who is my ultimate guide. Together we strive for curiosity, play, and to be active in the ongoing adventure of each moment. I believe in creating community through participation and the sharing of nutritious food. Let's share stories together, come sit by my fire.
