METAL MOTHER
Hailing from the edge of familiarity, by way of the dregs of Oakland, Ca. comes Metal Mother, moniker of the newest identity of singer/composer/performer, Taara Tati. Originally from the abstract recesses of Northern California (Sonoma County), Tati has emerged to the light of cultural curation with wild fervor. Her music a crystalline bath of melancholic emotion, held sturdy by shamelessly dark, tribal drums, futuristic synth leads, and haunting, Celtic-inspired vocals. "Post-Apocalyptic-Art-Wave" is what she calls it.
